ABSTRACT:
Jhargram district consists of eight blocks and the eight blocks are covered with forests having different types of trees, herbs and shrubs. The district is locally called 'Jangal Mahal' of the state. The majority of populations are tribal. From ancient time tribal and other than tribal people of Jhargram district are well acquainted with different plant resources for the treatment of Rheumatism. Rheumatism or rheumatic diseases generally mean musculoskeletal diseases in which joints, tendons, ligaments, bones are affected. Generally, it is an autoimmune and inflammatory disease that occurs when a body immune system mistakenly attacks own body's tissue causing painful swellings...
